The problem with analogies is...

Analogies are ok up to a point, but I no longer feel like I am on a roller coaster.
Take a moment to read the other blogs, the girls have written. There excitement about the work they are doing and how God is blessing them is "wind under my wings" (to borrow a phrase). We are on a journey together. After all, it is the "Timothy Partnership" and even though we come from very different backgrounds and our ministries are heading in different directions, our lives come together in these studies and for God's will and purpose, we come together as a family for a season.
As I have begun the TP adventure, I have not thought much about what my "ministry" is. I guess I would call it a ministry of service (which is a little nicer than "general dog's body"). I do a little church leading and some preaching. At the moment, I oversee the youth ministry. I am the church secretary, I do pastoral visits occasionally and Nicky and I try to be involved with hospitality every week. Then there is being a husband,a Dad, a friend and a neighbour.
Under the umbrella of my love for My LORD and God, it is for all of these reasons that I know that I will power on with my studies, so that I may be fully equipped to love and care for those whom Jesus brings into my life. After all, it is "all about Jesus".
