How it Works
Each unit of study in the Diploma is worth 4 credit points. The Diploma requires successful completion of 64 credit points, or 16 units of study. Normal full time load is 4 units per semester. A 75% load – or 3 units per semester – is required to access Centrelink benefits.
From 2010 through to 2012 the Timothy Partnership will offer 3 units each semester in distance mode enabling candidates to complete a 75% load and qualify for Government support. Additional units can be taken in intensive mode through Youthworks College
Online units are taught over two thirteen week semesters. Each semester is divided into two terms broken by the autumn and spring vacations of NSW government schools.
Intensive units are offered through the Youthworks College program held on campus at Loftus, in Southern Sydney and in other regional centres.
